Objective:
To create a cross-border network of hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS) for heavy-duty trucks along TEN-T corridors, in line with EU AFIR regulation (deadline 2030).
Key Activities:
- Developed a spatial planning toolkit and a guideline for HRS deployment.
- Compiled a catalogue of technical standards and proposed business models.
- Conducted pilot studies in 5 regions (Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland).
- Final conference in Helsinki (Nov 2025): presented tools, policy recommendations, and signed a cooperation memorandum.
Results:
- Harmonized infrastructure concept for the Baltic Sea Region.
- Open-source planning tools and guidelines.
- Strong political and industry commitment to hydrogen infrastructure development.
