Duration: 2025 – 2029
SILLAH2 is an integrated green hydrogen and ammonia production project developed by BHG Estonia OÜ, aiming to establish a regional hydrogen hub in Sillamäe. The project combines hydrogen production, storage, transport, and consumption with green ammonia synthesis and renewable energy solutions (solar, geothermal, and storage) into a unified industrial ecosystem.
The project is being implemented in collaboration with international technology and financial partners and is aligned with the European Green Deal and the EU Hydrogen Strategy, supported by the Estonian national investment scheme.
Located on the TEN-T North Sea–Baltic corridor and integrating port, rail, and road logistics, SILLAH2 enables both the decarbonization of local transport and industry and the export of green energy to Europe, supporting the continent’s emerging hydrogen and green corridors. The first phase of the project involves establishing a production capacity of up to 25 MW, with plans to expand to 50 MW.
