The AutoCoVE 2.0 project aims to modernise vocational education and training (VET) in the automotive sector to respond to the rapid shift toward zero-emission mobility, digitalisation, and alternative energy solutions, including hydrogen technologies. The primary goal of AutoCoVE 2.0 is to equip learners, teachers, and industry professionals with future-oriented competences required for servicing and operating next-generation vehicles powered by electricity, hydrogen fuel cells, and other low-carbon technologies. The project focuses on reducing the emerging skills mismatch in the mobility sector by aligning curricula with real industrial transformation and supporting continuous upskilling of the existing workforce. Through close cooperation between VET providers, higher education institutions, and industry partners, AutoCoVE 2.0 strengthens Europe’s capacity to deliver sustainable, smart, and climate-neutral transport solutions.
