Duration: July 2022 – June 2026
EU grant: 4 000 000 EUR
The GreenSkills for H2 project aims to build a strong vocational and professional skills base to support the growth of the hydrogen economy across Europe and partner regions.
The primary goal of GreenSkills for H2 is to address the critical shortage of hydrogen-related competences by developing targeted training programmes, modern learning materials, and cross-sector cooperation between education and industry. The project supports reskilling and upskilling in key areas such as hydrogen production, storage, safety, and applications in energy, transport, and industry. By anticipating labour-market needs and embedding hydrogen knowledge into vocational pathways, GreenSkills for H2 ensures that workforce development keeps pace with technological innovation and enables a smooth transition toward a sustainable, hydrogen-enabled energy system.
