The coordinators of Hydrogen Valley Estonia, Priit Ilomets and Ly Lepik, participated in the European Hydrogen Valleys Investment Forum 2025, held in Riga on 4–5 September 2025. The event brought together over 600 leaders, investors, and experts from the hydrogen technology sector across Europe. The forum focused on the future of green hydrogen, innovation, and investment opportunities, while also fostering international cooperation networks.
In addition to the main program, participants attended the Naco Site Visit, where they explored the innovative center of the Latvian company Naco Technologies, which develops some of the world’s greenest and most advanced nanocoatings for the hydrogen industry. This visit provided an opportunity to witness cutting-edge developments in hydrogen technology and to deepen knowledge of hydrogen value chain practices.
At the end of the first day, the Hydrogen Refueling Station Visit offered insights into the functioning of hydrogen refueling infrastructure and the latest trends in its development in Latvia.
Participation in this event highlights the team’s commitment and active role in the European green hydrogen ecosystem and reinforces Estonia’s contribution to international hydrogen value chains.
